Networking Party

Hey...
I don't know how many of you still read this, but I am planning on having a networking party within the next few months (leaning towards the beginning of june). For all who do not know what a networking party is, it's basically a place where local businesses can come together and advertise their services or products. For example, my friends are: tattoo artists, personal trainers, swim instructors, car remodelers, party planners, graphic designers, artists, bakers; some sell:makeup, nutritional supplements, art work, segways, life insurance. Some are hiring and will take resumes.
It's a great way to get yourself out there and to learn about small businesses you can support.
Refreshments will be served. Raffle tickets will be sold for a free product or a free consultation/session.
And the only "rule" will be that you can bring as many people as you'd like, provided you let me know beforehand.

Bitch It Out

The last time someone gave me shit about where I live was in HS. After that, I started becoming good friends with people before bringing them to my house. Last Sunday I brought a guy I have known for a while to my house. We got into an argument the other day and the first thing he says is "my bad my parents aren't rich and I have to work". REALLY?! Do I not work? Do I act like some horribly spoiled kid? I work and I work hard. My parents don't spoon feed me everything and they never have. They wouldn't let me live at home if I didn't go to school and have a job. What the fuck. Well, MY bad I don't act like a shithead and think I'm better than you because of how much I work.
Seriously. This fucking pissed me off.
In other news, Benji is having puppies and we get one to sell.. so it will be much less than the $2500 labradoodle. Let me know if you or anyone else you know wants a BEAUTIFUL puppy.
I am training for only $40 an hour, if you or anyone is interested. Children and adults of ALL ages!!!

I haven't updated in a long time. Over the summer, I saw myself getting into some trouble, so I went to the gym like it was my job, and eventually, it did become my job. A good guy told me- coke or the gym. And I picked the gym. I started working out there every day, hours each time I went. The manager at LA's Pro Results asked me to be a trainer. A few weeks later, I took the exam and became a personal trainer. I lasted there for about 4-5 months, and got laid off. I was applying to NY Sports Club at this time and landed the job. I was thrilled and ready to sign the papers when I was told I would be working part time on floor shift and part time as a trainer = full time. I had to decline the offer, which sucked, but when one door closes another one opens.
I am now working for myself. I only have 2 clients- my old client Sally from LA and her ten year old son. Working with kids has always been a passion of mine, so getting to do this health thing and motivating kids to run around and become stronger is kick ass. Jenny made me an AMAZING business card and I will have those printed by the end of next week, and I have my flyers ready to go all over Wayne. I am doing this completely on my own and I love it. I know there's much competition out there and I'm fine with the pressures of knowing I will never make millions training. I just bought insurance and finished my waivers too. It's just an amazing experience to be able to do this on my own (with the help of good friends, of course).
My parents are in Russia now and will be for another few weeks. My grandparents are here and so is my love, Benji. He is actually in my room chewing on his jolly ball, which im about to take away from him. He turned one on valentines day and we gave him turkey, cucumbers, and made him blow out his candle. We also put on party hats and bought him balloons. We love this dog way too much.
I'm still in school, surprisingly, and I'm graduating in Dec. I decided to not walk for my graduation, just take pics with the cap and gown. This part of my education isn't what I'm proud of. I take more pride in other things, like being a good friend, making a difference in someone's life, doing this business venture. I'm glad I stayed in school and will get my undergraduate degree, but honestly, I didn't work that hard for it and I don't need to sit in a stuffy stadium to hear my name called out and walk across the room. That's not for me. BUT... there will DEF be a partyyy, and it will be fabulous!
(Benji is chewing on his leg, loudly)
Today was my grandpa's bday and I took him and my grandma to the movies at night because he can't drive once it gets dark anymore. So I dropped them off at Loews and went in search of Retro Fitness. It's a really cool gym. They have tanning, a juice bar, an upstairs deck for cardio, and the whole downstairs for machines and free weights. They ALSO have a movie theater with cardio machines.. it's awesome. It's $20 a month and my wknd GM from LA now works there and said if I want to join, he will get me reduced registration fee. Pretty nice.
I should get some sleep. Busy day at the gym tomorrow ;)

We would love everyone's imput because this is for the community; even if you dont know anything about Autism or the YMHA, you can still learn. There are many families in northern NJ that have one or more children born with special needs everyday. Of these children, the ones with autism require constant learning. They are in school for most of the summer and need therapists about 20 hours a week. Public schools give the kids off for the entire month of August. This is really hurting them because they tend to forget what they have learned, and regress. We want to stop this from happening. Many families also cannot afford a therapist for their children- sometimes they need ABA therapist, speech, occupation, physical therapist.. and the list goes on. These children also need recreational activites. There are so few of them and those are still not well known in the community. At the YMHA, there is one specific program called Sunday Family and Fun. It's 2 hours in the morning. There are many different people working: music therapist. behaviorists, ABA therapists, teachers, college and high school students on staff. The cost for the child to go to this program is only $315, but it costs the YMHA about $10,000 or more to fund it. The fall session was cancelled because they couldn't pool enough money together in time for the children.
I would love to start a program like this in another community center, but I need some experience to pull something so big like that off. So I need to start somewhere. I went this morning to speak to the director of the Sunday program and she told us that she would speak to the director of the YMHA and see what we can do. She told us she can't promise anything. I don't know what is going to happen, but if they do not allow us to fund their program, then Linda and I will continue looking for an organization needs us. We want to make a change and stand for something we truly believe in.
I know I am young, but I have worked closely with autistic children and they and their families struggle every single day. The Sunday program is not only great for the children, but it gives the parents a few hours to relax and know their child is in good hands. I didn't know about autism until just a few years ago. The children are so adorable and it breaks my heart when I see them. They go through life being so scared of the outside world that they keep to themselves. They do not feel comforted by a doll, but instead by the sound of metal clinging. They do not cope like other children, and many people don't understand them. These kids cannot express their feelings verbally for the most part; they do not understand imaginative play, only cause and effect. They are hypersensitive and will never look you in the eye. There is no cure, and no one knows what causes autism. There are many programs that fund autism research, but I want to help those that are 4 years old and are lost in the world.
- We are thinking of doing a tricky tray/ walkathon. It will take approx a year to plan. We will need about 50-100 volunteers and a committee of volunteers. People to go around and find companies/stores to donate to our tricky tray; a marketing team; people to get all the paperwork and legal work done. I am willing to everything, but i know i will not be able to do it alone. So.. if you have any suggestions, or you want to help. If you know people who will want to help, have a part of this.. let me know. Thanks.

we're all gonna get married and our roles are farked up. lol i get to have babies so im happy tho. kim is the midwife.. and bathes everyone and linda is the mommy of course. lol and of course i want my sex slaves chained up in the dungeon. wow... this was really farked up and every1 heard us at the diner.
driving home was the best drunken experience. i was drifting and almost hit the divider... best part? i wasnt drunk.

who am i? im not that girl in my profile picture. im not the girl in all the picture frames around my room. who am i and where the hell did i go? what was i doing before tony? i was having the time of my life. i was enjoying every minute of my life. i was in a tiny rut and the woman at the makeup department store told me that the bus comes every 20 minutes. i fell in love a month later. i started doing well in school, stopped going out all the time, dropped people who weren't the best influences on me, found my passion- working with children, made myself a second family, got ridiculously close to mine, i became a better person. and then i fell apart. one day i woke up and the world crumbled under my feet. where did i go? where did my love go? do i even love him nemore? i wish someone could answer these questions for me. when did i start caring what others thought of my decisions? no one even cares. no one ever cared as long as i was happy and i cared as long as they approved. i dont want approval. i want confidence. i want happiness. i want contentness. i want my passion back. i want tony to know that i am so incredibly sorry and there was nothing else i could do. how could i hold someone i dont even want to look at in the morning. how did i end up hating myself so much that i hate everything around me? he was the best thing that has ever happened to me, and i cant even acknowledge that. 80% of the time im angry. 5% of the time im scared out of my mind. 5% of the time im happy and thats sporadically. 10% of the time im sad and suicidal. i dont want to die. in fact, im terrified of dying or anyone close to me. but sometimes i just dont want to deal with it nemore. i dont want to wake up tomorrow morning hating who i am, who i am living to be. one person. one person loves me more than anything. he would do nething to see me happy, and i cant even give him that. why am i so angry? i want my carefree spirit back. i want to stop taking every little thing to heart, i want to stop wanting more and start being satisfied. i want to enjoy who i am and who i spend my time with. i want to stop wanting. i want to stop doing what others want. i want my life back... i want to live and love.
Why i dont want to be with tony: 1. im confused with who i am and what i want, let alone what i want in a relationship, 2. im hurting him by not being able to make up my mind, 3. we have this one problem and we cant figure out what is triggering it, how to solve and deal with it, and why it's reoccuring like this, 4. im scared that im tied down and im not ready to be this wife figure i made myself out to be, 5. im scared that im not living to the fullest, 6. what if i give him my all and he turns his back? 7. i miss who i was when i was single: i was so strong and carefree, 8.
Why i want to be with tony: 1. i love him with all of my heart, 2. we have a great time together and are a perfect match, 3. he makes me feel things i never wanted to feel, ever again, 4. he's in my future, 5. the way he looks at me fills up that tiny hole in my heart, 6. he gives and does everything for me; he hardly says no unless it's unreasonable, 7. he's been there for me even when i pushed and pushed bc i was so scared, 8. he might not be the one, but for now that shouldnt matter. im 20 im not getting married anytime soon, making this marriage thing such a big deal was the dumbest idea anyone has ever had. who cares if i dont marry him? im not wasting my time.. he makes me happy. even if i dont make myself happy, he makes up for it. i just want to be happy with myself. i want to want to live, not feel guilty for not taking advantage of all my privilages. sure i have the money to go study abroad, but what if its not for me? and i did rent an apartment, but did i want it.. or did i think it was going to do wonders for our relationship. i want to stop feeling so guilty for the things i feel and want. what if there's someone else out there for me? what if there isnt and tony is the one... why am i hurting my bf so much? he makes me happy, but i used to do that for myself. thats what it comes down to. how do i make myself happy and keep him around? or i cant? i dont know how to balance my independence from him and our relationship. it feels like i have to choose. i want my independence so bad that i am willing to break up with him for it, but i dont have to do that.. i just need to learn how to be me without losing him. he gave me SO much this past yr and now i feel like i need to go on and do something with it. tell me.. how do i keep growing without ruining the one who gave me this inspiration, passion... everything.
